Don't be a dick.
Using Bump
Bump's purpose is to help people connect, please use the app and behave at our events in a way that does not prevent yourself, or others, from achieving this. Be a good person, speak to people with respect, and try to get to know each other. The more everyone does this, the more everyone will have an enjoyable time.
If you think we're not doing a good enough job of helping people connect please tell us! There's a feedback page where you can do so in settings in the app.
Be Honest
Be truthful about who you are both on the app and in person. Make an effort to have your profile reflect your real self. Choose a picture that's recognisable to people you meet in person. Tell people about who you really are. All these things will help you make better, longer lasting connections.
Be Nice
Whilst using our app or attending one of our events, treat other people you interact with or meet with kindness and respect at all times. Bump is a created for, and welcoming to everyone, regardless of ethnicity, body, gender, disability, religion, race, identity or sexual orientation.
Any aggressive or discriminatory behaviour such as abuse, harassment, violence, hate speech, or content towards other people whether it's on the app or at an event will not be tolerated. Doing so will result in you being removed from the event and banned from Bump, and if appropriate the relevant authorities will be notified.
If you observe someone doing any of these things please report it within the app or to a member of staff at our events.
Privacy
Your profile is visible to anyone you connect with at an event or who knows your username. Be careful with what you share on your profile and do not share sensitive information on your profile such as phone numbers, addresses, passports, financial information, national insurance numbers or any other information you may not want people to know.
Do not post photos containing nudity, sexual imagery, illegal activities, drug use, violence, pornographic content, or people under the age of 18 on their own.
Illegal Activities
Don't do anything illegal on the app or at our events. Any illegal activities we are made aware of will be reported to the relevant authorities, as well as result in you being removed from the event and banned from Bump.
Solicitation
Do not attempt to sell products or services at our events or on the app. This ruins the experience for everyone else and will result in you being removed from the event and banned from the app.
