About Us
Why?
There's a loneliness epidemic going on where people have fewer close friends than they ever have before. Communities and third spaces have all but disappeared from everyday life, leaving limited opportunities to meet new people and organically form new connections.
We believe that by bringing people together in a space where everyone is there to socialise, it is easier to overcome the barriers of approaching and talking to strangers. This way the interactions you have are more organic and feel more real, and that if this happens enough, then people will have more friends and be happier.
Making friends and having fun shouldn't be expensive and out of reach, which is why we will always do our best to keep our events affordable so that money doesn't get in the way of us helping people form meaningful relationships.
Our Mission
We believe that loneliness is a huge contributing factor to a lot of the worlds problems. Our goal is to connect people socially to:
Make people happier by helping them to have more friends
Reduce societal division by bringing people together and help foster understanding
Reduce the prevalence of mental health conditions by increasing the number of social connections people have
